Friday.....WELCOME
I will have been there ahead of time preparing for your arrival.
It is a 50 minute £50 taxi ride from the Manchester Airport to Hebden Bridge. Some of you will be arriving by train. In either case I can arrange for a taxi to meet you in Hebden Bridge and drive you to the Lodge.
We will meet at 4 pm to introduce ourselves and review the itinerary for the week. Jennifer will prepare us a welcoming meal. I expect some of us will want to take a short walk around the hills to get our bearings, such as, “in which direction is Wuthering Heights?" and to enjoy the views.
